Wizz Air is expanding its network with new ultra-low-cost long-haul flights from Europe to the Middle East. Starting March 2025, the airline will operate daily flights between Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and London Gatwick, utilizing the Airbus A321XLR aircraft. This route is the longest in Wizz Air’s network, covering 4,100 kilometers.

In June 2025, Wizz Air will also commence flights from Milan to Abu Dhabi, further strengthening its presence in the Middle East.

Saudia: New Routes to Bali and Beyond

Saudi Arabian flag carrier Saudia has introduced new international routes to cater to both leisure and religious travelers. From March 2025, Saudia operates three weekly flights from Jeddah to Bali, Indonesia, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This service aims to boost tourism and provide more options for outbound tourists and inbound pilgrims.

Additionally, Saudia has expanded its network with new destinations, including Salalah, Amman, Entebbe, and Vienna, to enhance connectivity and support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.

flynas: Expanding European and African Connections

Saudi low-cost carrier flynas is set to launch several new international routes in summer 2025. The airline will begin operating flights from Jeddah to Milan, Geneva, Krakow, Rize, and Casablanca, expanding its network to over 20 destinations across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

On June 21, 2025, flynas will also commence four weekly flights between Jeddah and El Alamein, Egypt, further enhancing regional connectivity.

Gulf Air: Resuming U.S. Operations

Gulf Air plans to resume flights to the United States in September 2025, marking its return to the U.S. market after over two decades. The airline will operate three weekly flights from Bahrain to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, utilizing Boeing 787 aircraft.

This expansion is part of Gulf Air’s strategy to strengthen its international network and cater to the growing demand for travel between the Middle East and North America.

Royal Jordanian: Reconnecting with Damascus

Royal Jordanian has announced the resumption of direct flights between Amman, Jordan, and Damascus, Syria, starting January 31, 2025. Initially operating four weekly flights, the service will increase to daily flights by April 2025. This marks a significant step in the normalization of air travel between the two countries.

Iran Airtour: Expanding European Services

Iran Airtour is set to launch non-stop flights between Tehran and Paris, France, commencing January 31, 2025. The airline will operate two weekly flights on this route using Airbus A300-600 aircraft. Additionally, new routes to Germany, Spain, and Italy are planned for March 2025.

beOnd Airlines: Introducing Premium Leisure Services

beOnd Airlines, the world’s first premium leisure airline, is expanding its network with 18 new destinations from Velana International Airport in the Maldives. These routes will connect major cities across Europe, Asia, India, and the Middle East through 2025 and 2026, offering luxury travel experiences to discerning passengers.
